Perceptions and Preferences of Senior High School Students About Written Corrective Feedback in Pakistan

Written corrective feedback (WCF) in enhancing writing proficiency has been the subject of numerous studies, but few studies have examined students’ perceptions about value on their written errors. Language teachers use global tools and techniques to give students work. How is delivered received by valued differently. The current study concentrated how interpret which WCF tactics they favor classrooms. To examine these objectives empirically, researchers employed a self-administered questionnaire collect data from 180 participants high secondary school Multan, Pakistan. At same time, 40 were interviewed for opinions (WCF). Some expressed concerns ambiguous that confuses them errors, whereas most favored process as beneficial. preferred strategies meta-linguistic explanation direct facilitated language knowledge. Overall, guides errors avoid adapt style composing compelling manuscripts.
